Top 10 Halloween costumes for 2015
According to an NRF survey released in september more than 157 million Americans celebrate Halloween this year. They spend nearly 7 billion on on decorations, candy, costumes and more.
Online searches and retail stores/costume shops remain the top sources for costume inspiration. Pinterest continues to grow in popularity among those looking for costume inspiration, as this year’s percentage is nearly double the amount who used the site for inspiration just three years ago.

NRF’s 2015 Top Costumes Survey found that Minions and “Star Wars” characters each made an appearance on all three top costume lists – adults, children’s and pets. Hollywood and pop culture both have a tremendous impact on how adults and their children decide to dress for this evening.
Princess costumes is 11 years in a row top the children’s costume and witch came in as the top adult costume for the same time period. Most pet owners chose a pumpkin for their friend’s costume.
